What are the Future Environmental Leaders of America?
FELA or the Future Environmental Leaders of America is our internship/volunteer program. The purpose of this program is to help expose young adults to the importance of living a sustainable lifestyle and how to do so.
Here are some common questions we have about this program:
This program is meant for young adults, people between the ages of 13-17, who live in the Puget Sound area.
You would be doing a variety of things. Jobs include going around the Puget Sound region to help clean and collect trash, take part in creating new ideas for our company, and be part of a team that goes around Seattle spreading the idea of a sustainable lifestyle.
The length of this program is about 2 months. It takes places three days a weeks (Weekends + Wednesday) . On the weekends, it’ll last from 8am to 2pm. While on Wednesdays, it’ll last from 3pm to 6pm.
